1. Information We Collect

2. Use of Information

2.1 Providing Services: We use the information we collect to provide, personalize, and improve our services. This includes delivering online video courses, group tutoring, and one-on-one tutoring, as well as providing access to study materials, interactive features, instructor support and other support services on the Platform.

2.2 Account Registration and Authentication: We use the information we collect for the purpose of verifying the account registration for students and instructors. The information will assist in ensuring that the account information is as accurate and true as the information provided by the user. It may even be used for authenticating user account logins.

2.3 Service Order Processing: We use the information provided to us by the user, in order to be able to fulfil orders of the services being made on the Platform.

2.4 Communication: We may use your contact information to communicate with you about our services, respond to your inquiries, provide updates, and send administrative messages related to your account.

2.5 Marketing: With your consent, we may use student information to send marketing materials via email. These materials may include information about new courses, special promotions, or other relevant updates. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link provided in our emails.

2.8 To improve our Platform and maintain safety: We use your information to improve and customize the Platform and services offered by us, including providing automatic updates to newer versions of our Platform and creating new features based on the Platform usage analysis. Further, we also use your information to prevent, detect, investigate, and take measures against criminal activity, fraud, misuse of or damage to our Platform or network, and other threats and violations to the Company’s or a third party’s rights and property, or the safety of the Company, its users, or others. The legal basis for this processing is consent or, where applicable, our legitimate interests in the proper administration of our Platform, and/or the performance of a contract between you and us.

3.1 Instructors: If you are a registered instructor on our Platform, we may share your profile information, course content, and other relevant details with our student community to facilitate the learning process. However, we will never share your personal contact information without your explicit consent.

3.2 Service Providers: We may engage third-party service providers to assist us in delivering our services. These providers may have access to your personal information but are contractually obligated to protect its confidentiality and use it solely for the purpose of providing the requested services.

3.3 Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as court orders, subpoenas, or government investigations.

3.4 Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you via our website or other prominent means if such a transfer occurs and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

3.6 Duration for which your Information is Stored: Mostly, when you delete any of the information provided by you or when you delete your account, on the Platform, the same will be deleted from our servers too. However, in certain cases, we will retain your information for as long as it is required for us to retain for the purposes stated hereinabove, including for the purpose of complying with any legal obligations or business compliances.

4. Data Security

4.1 We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security and that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, or destroyed in the event of a breach of any of our security measures.

4.2 In case of data breach, affected users shall be notified as soon as practicably possible once the breach has been identified by email. The notification to the affected users shall include, among other things, what data has been breached.

4.3 It is important for you to protect your account against unauthorized access to or use of your password and to your computer and if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner, you must immediately change your password or inform us, so that we are able to help you stop or prevent such unauthorized access. Be sure to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.

5. Your Choices

5.1 Account Information: You can review, update, or delete your account information by logging into your account settings or contacting us directly. Please note that deleting certain information may limit your access to certain features or services.

5.2 Cookies: Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can adjust your browser settings to reject cookies or prompt you before accepting them. However, if you disable cookies, certain features or functionality of our website may be inaccessible or may not operate properly.

5.3 Data transfers: We may require transferring data out of the UAE if the third-party service providers are located outside of the UAE. We shall impose appropriate safeguard measures when doing so, in order to comply with the UAE data protection regulations for cross-border data transfers.

6. User Rights

6.1 Right to Erasure: The Company acknowledges that the users have the right to request the Company to delete personal information collected if the user no longer utilises the services on the Platform or the personal information collected by the Company is no longer necessary to be retained by law. The company shall comply with this request as soon as practicable when the user requests for it through the contact email in Clause 9.

6.2 Right to be Informed and Access: The Company acknowledges that the users have the right to request the Company for any additional information of the purposes of the data usage, the entities and/or sectors with whom the data will be shared, the security measures in place if there are any cross-border data transfers, and access to the personal information that has been provided to third part service providers. The company shall comply with this request as soon as practicable when the user requests for it through the contact email in Clause 9.

6.3 Right to Rectification: The users can rectify, update and complete any of their personal information as required by the Company from time to time to ensure the accuracy of the personal information collected by the Company. In the event that they are unable to do so through the platform for whatsoever reason, the company shall comply with this request as soon as practicable when the user requests for it through the contact email in Clause 9.

6.4 Right to opt-out: The users may have the option to object and opt-out of any personal information being used for direct marketing purposes and/or statistical survey. In the event that they are unable to do so through the platform or website for whatsoever reason, the company shall comply with this request as soon as practicable when the user requests for it through the contact email in Clause 9.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that we may have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately, and we will take appropriate steps to remove such information from our records.
